Jadon Sancho explains Chelsea move
Jadon Sancho has spoken of his excitement at reuniting with Enzo Maresca at Chelsea.
The winger has now been announced by the Blues after agreeing a season-long loan deal with the obligation to make the move permanent.
Speaking to Chelsea's website, he said: "I’m really excited to be here. London is where I grew up and I’m happy to be back.
"It's been a bit crazy. Obviously, it was the last day of the transfer window so it's expected to be a bit crazy, but I'm really happy it's all finally done.
"Chelsea is iconic. My idols growing up were Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard and now I have the opportunity to play for this club like them. It’s a great feeling."
Explaining his decision to join, Sancho said: "I think it’s the manager who really drew me to the project.
"I knew him from his time with Pep Guardiola in Manchester City. He spoke to me on the phone about this project and what he was building here, and for a young player like myself it’s exciting and I can’t wait to get started."

Zoum-ing off
Kurt Zoumahas officially moved to Saudi Arabia.
West Ham have confirmed the centre-back's exit to Saudi Pro League club Al-Orobah on loan.
The defender was made surplus to requirements by the Hammers this summer, with the club looking to find a buyer for most of the summer.
After being stripped of the captain's armband - with Jarrod Bowen the club's new skipper - Saudi looked the most likely route out of east London.
West Ham have now announced his departure, with Zouma seeing out the rest of his Hammers contract on loan with Al-Orobah, where he is expected to sign permanently as a free agent next summer.
"Everyone at West Ham would like to wish Kurt the best for his loan spell," read a brief statement from the Premier League club.

Saying his goodbyes
Ivan Toney has been spotted at the Gtech Community Stadium watching Brentford take on Southampton ahead of his move to Saudi Arabia.
The striker completed a £40million move to Al Ahli on Deadline Day last night.
But he's stayed behind in London to watch the Bees before bidding farewell and jetting off for the Middle East.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank paid tribute to the frontman after his exit was confirmed, saying he 'leaves as a Brentford legend'.
“It’s been a pleasure to work with Ivan over the last four years," said the boss. “He has averaged more than one goal every two games, which is an unbelievable number.
“On the pitch, he has been a fantastic goalscorer, link-up player and leader. He has pushed the team, the squad and himself.
“It’s a wonderful journey that we have been on together. Ivan helped the club and the team, and the club and the team have helped Ivan.
“I’m happy he has an opportunity to try something new in his life and career. We thank him for so many magic moments and wish him all the best for his next chapter. Ivan leaves as a Brentford legend.”

Exiled
Napoli have booted Victor Osimhen from their first-team squad and handed his shirt number to Romelu Lukaku.
The 25-year-old striker was expected to leave on Deadline Day but moves to Chelsea and Al Ahli fell through.
It is understood delegates from Chelsea were in Naples until the final moments of transfer window before accepting a deal could not be done.
Meanwhile, Al Ahli signed Ivan Toney from Brentford, despite agreeing a deal to buy Osimhen earlier on Friday.
The Nigerian is now stuck at Napoli despite his relationship with the club being broken.
Osimhen no longer appears on the club website, while new signing Lukaku is listed as their No.9.

Chelseapulled the plug onDeivid Washington's transferto sister clubStrasbourg over fears of the scrutiny the deal would bring the club.
See AlsoAnatomy Drawing LessonsInside St Mirren transfer model as Stephen Robinson explains Ethan Sutherland exitGaming and Video Game News & Reviews | EngadgetAcademy's Shipping Options Information | AcademyAccording to French football expert and talkSPORT regular Julien Laurens, everything was agreed between the two clubs - both owned by Todd Boehly - for the 19-year-old Brazilian to move from Chelsea to Strasbourg for £17.6million [€21m], with £2.5m [€3m] in add-ons.
That's for a player who only joined the Blues last summer for around £13m and has made just three first-team appearances.
He was ready to undergo his medical to seal the move to the Ligue 1 club, only for Chelsea to back out of the deal after questions were asked over its legitimacy when both clubs are owned by the same man.
Those questions came from pundits in the media - including talkSPORT host Jim White and Arsenal legend Martin Keown - but Laurens says the Premier League and FIFA also raised concerns over the transfer between the two sides.
It is also claimed Diego Moreira's movefrom Chelsea to Strasbourg earlier in the summer window for around £7.5m is being reviewed by the Premier League and FIFA.
Chelsea were said to be looking to raise around £20m in player sales this summer to help balance their books and keep on the right side of spending regulations.
