TOM Cruise is set to 'pull off an epic stunt' to close the 2024 Olympic Games.
The Hollywood action star is known for partaking in huge action feats himself, after he drove a motorcycle off a cliff in the last Mission Impossible film.

It has been reported that Tom, 62, is going to take part in a daring act as part of the Closing Ceremony in Paris.
This will apparently signify the passing of the flag toLos Angelesfor the forthcoming worldwide sporting event in 2028.
According to TMZ, the Top Gun star will apparently rappel down the top of the Stade deFrance and land in the stadium field below.
The outlet reports that he will carry the official flag of the Olympic Games in his hands.

A pre-recorded video - that was filmed back in March - will also be played after his latest stunt is broadcast to the world.
The clip will apparently show the star travelling on a plane as he flies the flag from France to California.
It will finish with the Academy Award nominated actor as he completes a skydive towards the Hollywood sign.
At the time, Tom was publicly seen scaling the iconic landmark, in what sources believed to be a project that was unconnected to the Olympics.

They also seemingly did not notice his latest daring skydive and did not fill in the planks.
However, the Daily Mail reported that he was working on a commercial that was themed around the Olympics.

The former Jerry Maguire star was also apparently seen to be passing a flag to a mystery athlete, according to the publication.
This comes after Paris 2024 was labelled as the most 'star-studded Olympics ever'.
Tom was accompanied by a number of A-list stars as they watched the global sporting event.
He was spotted cheering earlier this week as Simone Biles made history as she stormed the team gymnastics competition.
The likes of Serena Williams, Nicole Kidman, and Natalie Portman also watched the acclaimed athlete's major comeback.
Lady Gaga and Celine Dion were two of the major stars to take part in the controversial opening ceremony down the filthy Seine.

And it is the team jumping final of the equestrian at 1pm with Team GB in contention.
